State Info

Hi all.

State is right around the corner, March 7th - March 9th. They do not have the schedule out yet but expect it sometime the week of the 24th. Games most likely will be starting around 12pm on Friday.

Here is some information from Pinedale regarding the tournament.

**Pinedale Information: If you are looking for some things to do in between games here are a few things to check out; Pinedale Aquatic Center, Museum of the Mountain Man, Downhill and Cross Country Skiing, Flicks n' Pins in Big Piney (About 30 mins from Pinedale.) and/or head out on a little sightseeing of our town and catch some views -- Half Moon, Fremont and Boulder to name a few.

We anticipate having a few on site food trucks too, we will keep you posted on those businesses.

Correction - the boy's senior night is NEXT weekend, January 25th at 4:30pm. Sorry!

Updates - info needed

Hi everyone.

Eric asked me to have all our players complete and turn in the signed Authorization to Release Records for JYH grade checks. Please return the completed/signed forms ASAP. You can have your daughter give it to Gretchen or Amelie to give it to us or you can give it directly to Eric. Let us know if you have any questions. It has been a great season so far. We have updated the home game times for Sheridan, Casper and Miles City. Please update Crossbar with your availability for all games so Matt can make rosters. The sooner everyone lets us know if they can play, the sooner Matt can get a roster out. Please also mark your availability for practice so the coaches can prepare drills accordingly. We wanted to remind everyone on the 19U team, the 5:45am practice is important for all players to attend. Eliana is the exception :) This is the only time our team has full ice and we can all practice together.

And, FYI - We will have scheduled our Senior Night for the Friday night Miles City game. Senior banners will be hung in the rink tomorrow. The boy's Senior Night is this Saturday at 4:30pm. Please try to make it if you are in town. We will try to rally the boys to come to ours!

If you haven’t done the score board before, this video shows our system almost exactly and is a good tutorial. You can fast forward to 3:30 to get to the instructions that apply to us.

And for music- I don’t have a video, but you will need your phone and possibly a dongle (?) and a play list.

Couple of things

Hi all.

Next Monday we will have practice but since there is no school, practice is at 8am-9am.

For those of you who are going to Cody, Coach would like the players to be at the rink an hour and 15 minutes before game time. The games are Saturday at 3:30pm and Sunday at 8:00am. 1400 Heart Mountain St, Cody, WY 82414

Please make sure you have socks from last year. If you do not, please let me know and we will try to find some for you. Remember to always bring both black and white jerseys, just in case.

Monday Practice, November 18th, 5:45am - REMINDER

Hi Team.

Coach Matt asked me to send an invite and reminder to all the 16u girls that are on the 19u roster about our Monday morning practice. We have practice every Monday at 5:45am. He hopes to see the girls there.

We have our first games this weekend in Cody.

Hi everyone.

Elisa (Amelie's mom) and I (Teresa - Gretchen's mom) are teaming up to manage this year. We will try to get you all the information you need. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

 We have completed the 19U roster for the 24/25 season. Not all players will go to all the games. We do need to set rosters for Cody and Bozeman.

16U/19U parents and players - please let us know if you are available to travel to Cody for games on 11/23 and 11/24 and/or if you are available to travel to Bozeman for our tournament December 6-8. Once we have heard back from everyone regarding availability, Matt will finalize rosters. For Cody and Bozeman, please reply to this email and copy both Matts and Elisa (no need to reply all). If this comes from my JYH Registrar, my personal email is tjgosinski@gmail.com.

In the future, ideally we would like everyone to note their availability on Crossbar but I find it a little distracting with all the practices listed so I may send out a google sheet later tonight.

We will also need some parent volunteers this season for locker room monitoring, and score/box help. We will reach out soon with additional info. I have attached the WAHL schedule for convenience.
