You don't need to know anything! (Except parents dress warm at the rinks). Our Jackson Youth Hockey community welcomes new parents and players all the time with open arms. You will have the opportunity to make new friends in the stands or on the ice and learn more about the sport.

Common misconceptions for your introduction to hockey....."skating is hard", "hockey is dangerous", "my kids can't play if I never did".

For Jackson Youth Hockey, hockey is more than just a game with a stick and puck. We strive to help players develop lifelong skills, friendships, and a love for the sport all while supporting a safe environment for you child to take risks and learn.
