Scott Smith Scholarship Program

Coach Scott Smith was instrumental in the formation of Jackson Youth Hockey. We are fortunate to honor his memory through the scholarship program. Coach Scott believed in fun and hard work.

Scholarships for player registration fees for participation in the Jackson Youth Hockey will be considered and granted based upon the following criteria:

• Availability of funds with maximum of 50% per child applicant
• Financial need of the parent(s) and child applicant
• Academic record of the child applicant
• Special personal circumstances of parent(s) and child applicant
• Number of years with Jackson Youth Hockey
• No balance from prior year’s fees
• Completion of required volunteer hours of service to JYH for previous scholarship award
